Boundaries
A fourth comic this week, let’s see if I can keep it up and maybe get back up to five a week again, that would be nice. It’s my birthday on Sunday so excuse me as I begin psychological preparations for my annual bath.

Never knew your birthday was one day before mine. That means you’re older than I am… that’s how it works, right? Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Enjoy your bath!
Just discovered Shelley & co were back a couple of weeks ago, and have been quietly enjoying it .. but I’d re-subscribe to Bobbins in a heartbeat, were you to set that up again.
I also have one once a year whether I need it or not. Birthdays, that is.
You are spoiling us. No really you are. I am well and truly spoilt. I am now in the reduction bin at Waitrose.
Happy Birthday, John, and thanks for reviving the strip. Your efforts are appreciated – it’s a lot easier to get through the day when there’s a little slice of Tackleford life at the start of it.
Happy Birthday!!! Two days early! So, you get three happy days for the price of one! I think that’s how it works…
Shelley Winters without any boundaries has potential to be a very dangerous thing…
(Also, happy birthday!)
Just like Hagar! Will the entire village have to drag you to the tub?
As a Londoner, this summer I visited Tackleford for the first time (or at least a selection of the towns it is based on), and suddenly the entirety of Bobbins/SGR/Bobbins makes a lot more sense.
You bathe on a Sunday?
You heathen.
If you are going to Bath, don’t neglect stopping in off Cheddar.
Happy Birthday John! I hope yours is well spent and in good company! Congrats on so many milestones this year! Wrapping up Giant Days, checking back in on Shelley & Co and your excellent new series, Steeple!
It was my birthday a couple of days ago. Facebook reminded one of my band members and she bought me dinner, which was nice. But now I feel obligated log into Facebook regularly to check for her birthday.
That’s how they get you!
Happy bathday!
You are a gift and a delight! Thank you for giving us Bobbins, and thanks to your mom I guess for giving us you.
Happy Birthday!
Happy belated birthday to you and to the glory that is the Desmond Fishman! (And to Ryan North and T-Rex.)
Dang! Sorry I missed your birthday. I also had a bath in sympathy.
Happy birthday Mr. Allison. Thank you so much for improving the quality of my days with Bobbins.horse, and for some twenty-plus years of visual pleasures.
A coincidence of your last name inspires me to mention today, out of the blue, that “I know this world is killing you” is a rock lyric so great I can’t believe it took until 1977 for it to be written.
Happy birthday (It has passed but I still wish you joy for the days to come) don’t forget to massage your hair in you annual bath otherwise it was for nothing and you need to repeat 😛
